Cape Forchu
Cape Forchu, NS

360° Tour

Build Date: 1962

Location: Cape Forchu, Yarmouth County, NS

Perched dramatically on Nova Scotia’s rugged coastline, a lighthouse has stood at Cape Forchu as a beacon since 1840, guiding vessels safely into Yarmouth Harbour. The current “apple core” tower, built in 1962, rises over 125 feet (37.5 meters) above sea level, offering sweeping ocean views. Its elevation, remote location, and 77-step climb to the top can make it challenging to access for some visitors.

That’s where our virtual tour brings Cape Forchu to you—no climbing required. Explore the lighthouse,  and take in the breathtaking scenery, right where you are!
