Perched at the edge of the Annapolis Basin, the 26 foot tall Victoria Beach Lighthouse has stood beside the Digby Gut since 1901. This charming wooden lighthouse, with its classic red and white design and square wooden lantern, once guided ships navigating the treacherous Bay of Fundy tides entering the Annapolis Basin. Though no longer active, it remains a beloved local landmark and a symbol of Nova Scotia’s heritage with its picturesque peaceful surroundings in the community of Victoria Beach.
